Amanda Cooley has been teaching piano lessons to students of all ages around the world for over 15 years. After graduating from the University of Florida with a BM in Piano Performance, she came back home to Valrico, FL to begin teaching full time, where she has been teaching studio and virtual lessons for the past 10 years. She has studied and completed a teaching internship under Brandon area teacher Dave Clark, and University of Florida professor Dr. Kevin Orr, the director and co-founder of the University of Florida International Piano Festival.
Amanda loves playing music and singing in all different styles. She has played for audiences throughout Florida; in Washington DC at the Library of Congress and at the Governor's Mansion in Tallahassee in affiliation with the Heritage Arts Scholarship program. She has performed with theater productions at the Jaeb Theater of the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, and held various posts as church pianist and organist at churches in Gainesville, Tampa and Brandon. She has been the artist in residence at restaurants, hotels and lounges in the Tampa area throughout her career, and through this experience has been able to help her students secure similar jobs playing the piano.
