What is the best age to begin my child in lessons?
A person can begin piano lessons at any age. Between the ages of 4 and 6 years old is a great time to start your young child, especially if a parent can help with practice.
Do you teach adults?
Yes, I love adult students! If you’re an adult looking to begin lessons, know that we will customize your lessons so that you’re learning and playing exactly what you want to learn.
Do I need a piano?
You will need either a piano or an electronic keyboard. Don’t have one? Read about my Loaner Keyboard Service, (rented per availability.) **link the words loaner keyboard service to that section of the website. Also, when it’s time to buy a piano, I love to help with that process as well, just ask me about it in your lesson.
Does your studio require lesson contracts?
There is no long term contract, and students are free to stop lessons at any time. However if you do choose to stop lessons for any reason, your spot will not be held.
Are students required to participate in the National Piano Playing Auditions (Guild)?
No, only a small percentage of my students participate in Guild.
